  • Email address: Only when you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter.
  • GitHub account data: Only when you choose to leave a comment via Giscus (GitHub OAuth).

We do not collect personal data unless you voluntarily provide it.

Third-Party Services

Linuxize uses the following third-party services that may collect or process data:

  • Cloudflare: CDN and security provider. Your requests pass through Cloudflare, which may process IP addresses and request metadata. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy .

  • Firebase Hosting: Site hosting provided by Google Firebase. See Firebase Privacy .

  • Google Analytics: Traffic analysis with IP anonymization enabled. See Google Privacy & Partners and the Analytics opt-out .

  • Algolia: Site search functionality. Search queries are sent to Algolia for processing. See Algolia Privacy Policy .

  • Raptive: Advertising delivery. Raptive may collect and use data for ad personalization. See Raptive Privacy Statement .

  • Giscus (GitHub Discussions): Comments are handled by Giscus and stored in GitHub Discussions. To comment, you authorize the GitHub OAuth flow. See GitHub Privacy Statement .

  • Brevo: Newsletter subscriptions use double opt-in confirmation. Your email address is sent to Brevo for list management. See Brevo Privacy Policy .

  • Cloudflare Turnstile: Spam prevention on the newsletter form. May process IP addresses and request metadata. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy .

Cookies

Linuxize uses cookies through third-party services such as Google Analytics and Raptive for analytics and advertising purposes.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings. However, this may affect how you interact with our site and other websites. For more information about managing cookies, refer to your browser’s documentation.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data held by us
  • Correct inaccurate personal data

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of each third-party service. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, depending on the location of our third-party service providers. We use services that comply with applicable data protection regulations.

Linuxize may contain links to external websites. We have no control over the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.
